Earth Day is coming up, and I couldn’t be more excited to share something special I’ve created to celebrate this important date — whether you’re a parent, a teacher, or just someone who loves bringing creativity into everyday moments!
As a biologist and teacher, Earth Day has always held a special place in my heart. It’s a beautiful reminder that every small action matters — and when kids understand they have the power to help the Earth, they grow up more connected to the world around them. That’s why I created this Earth Day Spinner Wheel — a fun, hands-on activity that encourages kids to take action in simple and meaningful ways.
What Is It?
It’s a colorable Spinner Wheel that encourages kids to take simple, planet-friendly actions. It’s fun, interactive, and meaningful — all in one printable! There are two pages included:
- A cover page with a little window where actions appear.
- A wheel page with 6 easy Earth-helping actions.
As kids spin the wheel, a new action shows through the window — a playful way to inspire eco-friendly habits!
How to Use It
Putting it together is super simple:
- Print both pages (available in A4 and US Letter sizes).
- Let the kids color the cover and the action wheel.
- Cut out both circles.
- Use a metal brad (paper fastener) or even a paperclip to attach them at the center.
And that’s it — your Earth Day spinner is ready to go!
